Apple ID charged my premium subscription but i'm still free.

Hello, I currently have my account linked with facebook. I renewed my premium subscription through apple id but on my account it says my subscription is free. I need help fixing this problem cause I got charged over $12 and didn't even recieve the service I wanted.

Hey! Welcome to the community!

I'm sorry you are having trouble with Spotify through iTunes. Sometimes your app needs to refresh its data and you can do that by logging out and then logging back in. If that didn't work could you try to reinstall the app for me?

Also please consider subscriping through Spotify instead of iTunes, it's a little bit cheaper because of Apple's tax.

If the issues still persist after trying to logout and back in and reinstalling the app, just reply to this topic.

I reinstalled the app only to find out it didn't go through at all. I'm very upset that I lost all that money due to some dumb glitches in the payment system.

I subscribed the premium from the spotify website the second time. I don't know exactly where that money I spent on the apple id went to since I didn't get the premium when I renewed it there. I hope I can get what I spent on apple id refunded and not get the premium I got from spotify.com removed.

The reason why you can't buy Spotify Premium with iTunes money is because there is an Intro Offer, in this case it's the 3 months for 0.99.

 

Spotify tweeted about this:
