I am having the same issue. I have done all the steps in the article linked above.

I have an Apple Watch Series 6, OS version 10.1.1(21S71), Spotify version 8.8.86.157

It used to have my playlists list the recently added first on my watch before an update was made which was like a month or so ago.

Hey there @Dapstrewl

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community!

Could you send us a photo of what you're seeing on your end? We'll take a closer look. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout.

Hi Eni!

Thank you for getting back to me. Please see attached.

On my phone, I have sorted to "Recently Added" but my Apple Watch keeps defaulting to "Custom Order" (or Oldest Added). It used to mirror my iPhone but there was an update a month or so ago and now I do not know how to change the order on my watch back to "Recently Added"

Hey @Dapstrewl,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.

To continue investigating this case, would you mind checking if that happens with all playlists or just the one of the screenshots?

Also, since you mentioned that it started after an update, could you confirm if it was an OS update, or a Spotify update on your Watch/phone?

We'll be on the lookout.

Hi Oscar!

I can confirm if it is with ALL playlists.

I believe it was an OS update but I cannot be 100% sure.

Hey there,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

We appreciate all the info you've shared in your comments. To investigate internally if this behavior could be related to the app or OS versions, @jamesrg would you mind including the OS and Spotify versions you're currently running?

We'll be on the lookout.
