Audio Normalization Not Working On Imported Music

My Question or Issue

I use Audio Normalization on Normal volume level to prevent distortion from the bass boost of the equalizer. However, when playing music imported from my iPhone, I've noticed that they are significantly louder and that some of them even sound distorted. After playing with the Audio Normalization settings, turning it off and on and changing the volume to Loud/Quiet and back to Normal, I've noticed that none of the settings have an impact of volume of the local tracks. I could always reduce the volume of my iPhone on these tracks, but that doesn't get rid of the distortion from the Equalizer.

I've already restarted and done a soft reboot several times and reinstalled Spotify 2 times with no success whatsoever.

If any of you guys can help me get the audio normalization to work on my local files that would make my day 🙂
