Bluetooth/Bad sound since IOS update.

Hi, to make this really short, ever since my Iphone updated to 9.3.1 the sound in Spotify has been terrible when run through Bluetooth and I can't seem to fix it.
I've tried it on two separate headsets, a speaker and in my car with the same terrible static and disturbances as a result.

So far I've tried fiddling with some settings, resetting the connections but with no results at all.
(Note that all other audio through Bluetooth units is normal, it is only Spotify.)
Kinda sick of my music sounding like I'm offroading in the woods with a record player, so if anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

I'm having exactly the same problem with Spotify in my car over Bluetooth, since upgrading to 9.3. I thought it was just me!

If I use my work iPhone with iOS 9.2, it's perfect.

A fix would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to have had a very random effect since not that many others have had this problem, but yeah some sort of fix would be amazing since I mainly use Spotify while traveling.

What have you tried in the way of fixes? I'm tempted to try resetting network settings / deleting and reinstalling Spotify / factory reset of phone and restoring from iCloud backup, but if you've tried any/all of these things then I won't bother!

Literally all of those things is what I've done because I've seen those steps recommended to people with similar problems but, to no avail at all.

Also, oddly enough, it doesn't do it if I plug the phone in to my car with USB, only bluetooth.

Exactly the same for me, plugging any headphone or speaker into the phone and the sound is as crisp and good as it ever was, only Bluetooth.

I have the same problem, only when i connect Spotify with bluetooth. when i use Apple Music there seem to be no problems at all. the music just interupts in spotify and that is verry annoing.
please fix this bug and this problem is since i got the new IOS.

Is it possible that y'all have your equalizers turned on?

That could be causing the problem.

No, my equaliser is disabled, as is the normalisation. My other iPhone with exactly the same settings works perfectly. The only difference is that it is running iOS 9.2, not iOS 9.3.

It looks you already tried other audio sources other than Spotify with the iPhone running iOS 9.3.

With that information, and with another person having the same issue, I think it's safe to say that this is an iOS bug. Looks like I can't do much here. Sorry!

On the other hand, it could still be something else. I'll escalate this if nothing else comes up.

If you could escalate it, it would be much appreciated.

It doesn't seem to matter whether I'm streaming or playing offline cached music, nor the quality of the streaming settings or equaliser as you said. The only difference seems to be iOS 9.3 vs iOS 9.2.

Hey again.
I contacted Spotify support directly for the issue, but got no help at all since they "Do not support Bluetooth devices" so I'll just have to assume that it's some form of IOS compatibilty issue.

I still have no idea whatsoever what one could do to rectify it.

Just got some advice from someone higher up in the food chain.

Have you tried any other audio sources that involve streaming?

It's possible that another streaming service could result in the same problem.
