Can't access local files on my iPhone

I just got a bunch of legal MP3's which I've been trying to get into a playlist on spotify. The songs show up on my computer but the playlist is marked as empty when I try to open it on my mobile device. I've tried resetting both my devices, installing the latest spotify and I own spotify premium. How can I fix this?

If they are local files you will need to authorize Spotify to download the playlist on your phone. It should be able to then read what's stored on your internal HD.
