Can't choose a playlist picture [mobile]

Can't choose a playlist picture [mobile]

Hi,

I recently just signed up for the Family Premium plan and was told that I can change the picture for my playlist. When I went to go try to change the playlist picture, there was no option. I click on "edit playlist" and the only thing I can change is the songs and the name. My desktop isn't able to do this, and I have an iPhone 7 plus on IOS 13.5.1 so I'm all up to date. I'm also in the USA. Thank you !!

Hey @asbff3469, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Help's arrived.

You're only able to personalize and change your playlist cover using the Spotify desktop app. You can download the app on your desktop here.

If you're not able to personalize your playlist cover on your desktop, can you send me a screenshot of what happens when you attempt to? Also, let me know the make and model of the device, as well as the software version.

Let me know how this goes!

Ohhh okay, I thought that you were able to do that on an iphone. I tried doing it on my desktop but it still doesn't work. I have a Chrome OS. Thank you so much for your help. Also, I included screenshots of when I clicked on the three dots along with hovering over the original picture.

Hey @asbff3469,

Thanks for the reply!

Keep in mind that the option to edit the playlist covers is only available on the desktop version of the app.

This is different than the Google Play store version available to people using Chrome OS or the one on the AppStore for iPhone. In that case, what you're experiencing is expected behavior.

There is a Live Idea about implementing this feature on the mobile versions of the app. You can give your vote for it here.

I hope this clears things up!
