Can't listen to the songs i want

I just bought an iPOD touch 5th generation and installed spotify (not premium) and I can't listen to the songs that I actually want, I can only press the "shuffle playback" and if I keep holding the song I actually want, it only gives me an example of the song (like in itunes) and when I release my finger the song stops.

I have the same spotify app (not premium) on my iPAD and it doesn't do this.

Can someone help ?

Hi there!

If you use a Spotify free account you can't select individual songs you want to listen to. It's only a Premium feature. On the iPad you can select songs only because it is an iPad.
