Can't sync playlists on my gen 4 ipod touch

hi there, so i recently got spotify premium and read that you need to sync your playlist to listen offline, but i have a problem. while connected to the internet, i hit the "available offline" option on my ipod and then little grey arrows appear next to all the songs in the playlist, but then nothing else happens. i've let it sit like that for a long time but still nothing happens and i can't listen to my playlists offline. am i doing something wrong?

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have a 4th Gen iPod with iOS 6.1.6. It has been working Ok until I updated the Spotify App. Then it just refuse to sync my playlists. I have emailed support but so far no reply. After being one of the early adapter of the premium service (Jan. 2011), I am just about to throw in the towel and pay another music streaming company for better service. Sorry I could not be of further assistance, but I am so frustrated with their lack of support. There must be more people with the same issue, please add your two cents, maybe if we get the numbers on our side, we could get an answer form Spotify Support.
