Can't view play/pause/shuffle buttons on ipad with album covers

I can't view all of the buttons to play, pause, shuffle etc. when looking at album covers. I have a premium account. This is frustrating because I can't turn off shuffle. I checked but there are no updates. Suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, this sounds strange.

Please try restating the app (in multitasking), and restarting the device.

If this doesn't fix it, try a reinstall of Spotify.

Same problem! I'm stuck on shuffle and it is infuriating!😡

Just deleted the app and reinstalled it. Problem solved - all the controls are now there.

Hi.  deleting/reinstalling spotify on my ipad worked to make the bottom portion of the screen, including the shuffle button reappear.  So thanks for that.  However a big rant to Spotify for not providing a fix to this problem other than having to go through the hassle.

i have the same same problem with my iphone. Bar (for play/pause/shuffle) missing in app. Also, i can’t control the song from lock screen (which i used to be able). 

I have re-signed in and also re-installed the app. but it’s still the same. 

please help!!
