Choose whether to skip or fast forward using earbuds?

My Question or Issue

Hi!  Is there a way I can set the controls so that they skip to the next episode of a podcast instead of fast forwarding 15 seconds?  One of my podcasts is now only on Spotify, so I switched to using just Spotify instead of apple. I don’t always want to listen to the outro, and it’s a pain that I can’t change what happens when I double press my earbud controls. Can you help me?
