Clear or defer Queue when starting a piece of classical music

Clear or defer Queue when starting a piece of classical music

Classical music is in many cases listened to on an Album basis. And it disrupts the experience if you start listening and suddenly something from your queue from the previous day gets put up next

Hey there @ADP2NZ

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

If you don't want the music that you listened to yesterday to interfere with the music that you're listening to at the moment, you can clear the queue in the mobile app by heading over to the "Now playing" view > 3 dots > Queue > Clear queue and in the desktop app clicking on Queue > Clear queue.

You can also remove songs from the Play queue by following the steps in this article.

If you need help with anything else, just let us know.

I think what he means is that the queue should be emptied when starting and/or closing Spotify. Or give this as an option in Settings.
