Daily mix stuck in shuffle mode

My Question or Issue

All of my playlists including my daily mixes are stuck on shuffle. Usually the daily mixes allow me to play whichever song I want. I’ve made sure to uncheck shuffle on my desktop and I’ve done a clean reinstall of the app but the playlists are still stuck in shuffle mode.

For starters, we'd like to add some insights. Are your accounts free or Premium? Keep in mind our free experience on mobile is different: music on-demand is a Premium feature. If your accounts are on our free service, you can skip and select songs on a selection of 15 playlists chosen by Spotify based on your likes, as well as personalized playlists, including Daily Mix, Discover Weekly and Release Radar. The desktop app for free users works differently than the app on the phone. You can read more about it in this article.

@Ly0, would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version you have currently on your mobile device? It'd be really helpful if you send us a video recording of what you kindly mentioned. You can attach it in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
 

@Bozo_the_Klown, can you share with us the details of the playlist in which this is happening? Is it a playlist made for you by Spotify, e. g. a Daily mix? Is it created by you? Is it an album? Please send us the details.

Hi,

My account is the free version and the Spotify version is 8.7.82.107. I have attached pictures of my daily mixes and discover weekly which are usually not on shuffle. I have 6 daily mixes which are all stuck of shuffle including my release radar as well.

Nope on my desktop it works as normal and I’m able to pick and choose songs for daily mix. I’ve also made sure that shuffle mode isn’t pressed on desktop before listening on mobile etc but it still isn’t working.

Thanks for confirming.

As mentioned previously by @AlejaR, only certain Spotify playlists will feature the on-demand playback. The mobile app picks them at random every few days, so the ones you're currently only able to play in Shuffle mode may become available with on-demand playback in the upcoming days.

Still, it's worth logging out and signing back in twice in a row as this triggers an internal refresh of the app that may help here, so feel free to try it out, if you haven't already.

I’ve tried restarting uninstalling reinstalling every possible solution and refresh but this has been happening for at least a year. 

Daily Mix starts shuffling after playing first few songs in correct order. It’s Daily Mixes 1 to 6 and happens every time I listen.
