Feedback from a long-time unhappy customer

I have to say, whilst being a premium user for the last 5 years has left me feeling very satisfied with the app, I’ve recently realised how little attention the iOS version of Spotify gets.

Issue #1 - Landscape support. This is a feature that people on the Spotify forums have been asking for OVER 4 YEARS, and although it’s been implemented on Android, they don’t seem to care to add it to iOS as ‘it’s not a priority’. As someone who keeps their phone in landscape when driving I’ve found this more and more infuriating since getting my iPhone 6s Plus 2 years ago...

Issue #2 - Apple Watch support. Again, requested many years ago and met with a ‘not right now response’... Things like this are just showing the lack of interest in the iOS community. This is a feature that would be adored by any and all Apple Watch owners. Even if saving playlists locally wasn’t an option, why should it take IT students in America having to run a kickstarter to give the community something they’ve been asking for a while and have had no joy with from your end?

Not to mention since iOS 11 the app has become almighty buggy, crashes multiple times a day and more sluggish than ever.

Spotify - you should really do well to start working on developments on iOS or I fear you will slowly lose more and more market share to apple’s equivalent...
