Follow button gone

Follow button gone

The follow button disappeared for me. I want to follow this playlist but I can’t figure out any way of doing it anymore.

Could you post a screenshot of what you see when you open a playlist that you want to follow?

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.
 

Just to confirm, do you observe the same after a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your iPhone? We recommend this step as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. This tends to solve issues with the app's performance.

 

Give your device a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app. 

 

As @AeroZ mentioned, it'd be useful if you send us a screenshot showing the missing follow button. Just attach the image to your next response to us. This way we can take a closer look at the issue.

I can’t follow artists anymore for some reason. I already tried to reinstall the app, shut my iPhone 11 Pro off, turned it back on and reinstalled the Spotify app. However, I’m still getting the same issue.

The entire artist header is missing on the iPhone app. Do a search for an artist and click on the name....the artist homepages are missing the whole header...name, picture, and follow buttons all just a black background.

Have you performed a clean reinstall of the app? Also, could you tell us when was the first time you noticed this and if you experience the same issue if you try logging in with a friend's account.
