Free subscription won't let me turn off shuffle play

okay so my subscription for spotify is free, it is included in my carrier service. just recently like a fee hours ago, i can't turn of shuffle play anymore which is weird because i have always been a free user but i never had this problem before. everytime i try to press the shuffle button, it tells me to upgrade to premium and that's ridiculous, i never had this problem like at all before. shuffle play was off and now suddenly i can't turn it off unless i upgrade? wtfhhappened?

Hey @mbcadigue,

 

Even if you're not paying for it, you have a subscription, so you should consider yourself a Premium user.

 

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

 

After that, check the status of your subscription. It should read 'Your subscription is associated with our partner...' or something like that.

If that's the case, logout of the app in your device, and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

 

If your subscription appears as Free, you no longer have a subscription, so you need to link your mobile account to your Spotify again.

I had this same thing before I got Premium,

Usually the shuffle playist option is always on when it comes to being a free user. However, when I switch to something like an iPad or a computer, I don't have this issue. If it never did this before and it started to act up now then.

1. Log out an in

2. Delete and Reinstall Spotify

3. Try and see if you qualify for a free week trial of Premium and see if that resolves it

4. Contact Spotify Support

5. I'm out of options you're just gonna have to live with it.

I had the same problem you have to reinstalled or upgrade your account 

I'm having the same problem I've always liked Spotify now I wanna leave it be cause of this shuffle mess
