Gapless playback won’t turn off and cutting off some songs

My Question or Issue

My Spotify is playing back with gapless playback even though I’ve tried turning it off and every so often, maybe every second or third song is cuts off the beginning of the next song, it’s not a crossover, it just cuts it off and it’s a random amount, sometime 2 seconds, sometimes 10 and before it was 27 seconds. I’ve uninstalled the app, reinstalled and went through the pain of re downloading all my music and hasn’t fixed the issue. It’s only started happening in the last few days, maybe week at the most. Has had an update and that didn’t fix it, but auto update is on so was previously updated to start issue I suspect.
