God awful sound on iPhone.

I have been a premium subscriber for 5 years. I just recently started get terrible sound. It's slow. It's muffled. It's just bad. I tried sending in s ticket and I got a templeted emsil. I don't need to know how to download at higher Kbps. Of course after 5 years I know how to use all the features in Spotify...none of which are cause the sluggish, crackling, awful sound. Could somebody personally help me instead of an automated reply. I'm about to cancel the subscription because it can't be listened to. It's just too bad.

There is a music quality section in the settings menu which allows you to change the straming quality to Extreme (320kb/s), which sounds fantastic.

If this problem persists, it may be something to do with the actual hardware. Do you get this problem when watching online videos/movies etc.?

No problem with any other sound on any other app. I've had Spotify for 5 years. I've never had this issue. I've gone through every setting. I already know about the music quality options, it's not that. I've tried turning things off, turning them on one at a time, it's just bad now. It's slow and some of the singers don't even sound like themselves. It's like slow, not so talented singer is doing a cover song. I've deleted the app twice. The only new addition is air pods; however, for the first week of having air pods, this didn't happen, so it doesn't make sense that after a week, it would all the sudden just decide to sound terrible.
