Gramofon from Fon not working in my iPad and iPhone

Gramofon from Fon not working in my iPad and iPhone

my plan is premium familiar.

I use a iPad Pro 3rd and an iPhone 12 Pro, both with IOS 15.7.

I am at Spain.

I have connected my Gramofon for first time since years to my Denon ADV-M51.

all seems ok but the Spotify 8.7.66.438 on my devices recognizes the Gramofon but the Spotify says that reproduction is restricted ( see attachments).

please, can you support me?

Thanks!!!

Hey @MPenaMarco,

Thanks for reaching out.

As a first step, can you please try connecting your Gramofon to a different Wi-Fi or a hotspot on your iPhone? If that doesn't help, please try reinstalling your Spotify app as described here.

Keep us posted.

Cheers!

  • My Gramofon streamer has stopped working (Sept 2024).   The App has disappeared from the store and the website has closed.
  • What is the best fix?

Ditto on September 6, 2024. Hope someone can help us!

Hey folks,

Thanks for reaching out!

Looks like the Gramofon website is up and running again. Could you confirm if everything works on your end now?

Cheers 🤘

Thank you for your update.
The Gramofon is back up and working.👏 Looks like it has been changed as
the volume adjustment on a phone has to be done in two stages.
A few questions:
1. I guess this is the website: https://www.gramofon.com/ that you
referenced.
2. The App has disappeared. I guess it is no longer required?
3. Who owns Gramofon now?
4. Is Gramofon's future secure?

Clive

Hey @Vils

Thanks for getting back to us.

We're afraid we can't answer all your questions as Gramofon is a third party app and it's not owned by Spotify. If their app is no longer available, then that'd explain why Connect isn't compatible anymore.

As a workaround, you can use Bluetooth if the device has it, if not, we suggest reaching out to Gramofon directly as we don't have much info to share about their app.

Hope this helps. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

Thank you for your reply.
It looks like Gramafon has been run out of business.
I would have hoped that Spotify could have invested in this important
connection between its product and its customers’ devices.
