HEADPHONE VOLUME - DEFECT, NOT IDEA

Spotify + Spotify Community...

This is NOT and IDEA, it's a DEFECT.. Straight up! It's actually a safety issue, especially given the high quality of in-ear headphones available / affordable nowadays. 

If you haven't experienced this with Spotify on your iPhone, I'd be surprised. You plugin your headphones make sure the volume setting is appropriate, then hit play on Spotify and BLAST - you're shot out of your seat by full volume. What the... ??? How is this not a defect? 

The workaround is to hit play before inserting your headphones in your ears, adjust the volume, and then go from there. Of course, once in a while I forget about that, which I just did for the second to last time... Because, if this happens again due to Spotify ignoring this defect, I'm done. 

Spotify - Take this seriously please. 

Community - Please rally around this request and get Spotify to address the issue.
