How can i sync my local files from my iPhone to my Mac

My Question or Issue

Hi! So i had recently upgraded my Macbook and when i did not all of my local files were transferred. I can go to a playlist on my mac and see that all the files are there, but some are grayed out while others are completely fine. My iPhone has all of the files and everything is capable of being played on it, but not the mac, so is there anyway i can sync everything from my phone to my mac?

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

At the moment, you can only transfer the files from your laptop to the phone, and not vice-versa. The best thing to do in this case would be to delete and then re-upload the files that ended up being grayed out on Desktop. You can then follow the regular procedure to import them on your phone.
