How do I stop shuffling my playlists? I want them to play in order. What do I do?

Thanks for you reply. I do have a premium account, I don't have an iPhone AND I posted my original response on the wrong thread BUT I did get the shuffle to stop (it was just set on one particular album but I couldn't see where!).

The shuffle restriction only exists on mobile phones. Tablets and desktops/laptops can be used without shuffle on Spotify free.

Would that mean that you could select which tracks you wished to listen to, using Spotify Free on a Tablet/Laptop - as opposed to a radio-esque alternative on a mobile device?

Yes, that's exactly right. I think of Spotify Free on mobile as a bit more personalized than radio - since its shuffling playlists you've built - but the mobile experience is vastly improved with Premium.

@gprocess when you say "mobile" are you referring to just that, smartphones?

Because if your referring to tablets as well, when you say shuffling through playlists that you create, then surely you're still restricted to shuffling of some sorts using a Spotify Free account on any mobile device?

yes, can't turn off shuffle on ios - get it together Spotify.

Tap on the now playing bar at the bottom to open the now playing screen. Once there, the shuffle toggle should now be in the bottom left corner.
----------- This will only work if you are not using the free version. Spotify will only play shuffled until you subscribe.

I have premium account with iPhone 6 and cannot turn shuffle off when listening to another person's playlist. I think it works elsewhere. Disappointing.

My Windows phone's Spotify app has started shuffling songs by itself a few days ago and I am unable to revert it. I am well aware that on the PC I can turn the shuffle off, but I can't find such a setting on the app on my phone. Help!
