How to disconnect Google Maps from Spotify? (iPhone)
I want to undo the connection shown in the attached screenshot.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Having the same issue as you, if you find any solution please let me know, i would also like to disconnect my google maps from my spotify account,
EDIT: i believe i found out on how to properly disconnect apps from spotify, so here is how i did it: Go to your account overview on spotify (https://www.spotify.com/us/account/overview/) from there go to the menu (left) and go to the "Apps" tab, and there you should have a list of all applications that is connected and or linked with your currently logged in spotify account, and one of them should be google maps / google. Just select that one and click the button to the right of the application name and select "Remove Access".

Nice find!!! Wow, there were many additional connected apps that I never set up or even knew about. This feels like all kinds of privacy violations.
This solved the problem for me. Finally!
This does not work for me as I cannot find what you’re talking about. I clicked on the link provided, but that's as far as I could get.
Hi there @housebecky,
Thank you for your reply.
Just to confirm, did you try the following:
When you open up you're Google maps, you should click on the round icon right next to the microphone in the search bar and continue with the steps from point 2.
If you don't see it, can you send us a screenshot so that we can have a closer look directly from your end?
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Take care!
Hello @housebecky !
I'm not entirely sure what your issue seems to be here, so if you could provide us with some more context on what problem you're having and trying to get solved.
Otherwise i just double checked as of the time of this post that my previously posted guide on how to manage apps connected to your Spotify account still works, and it seems to do so, at least for me.
Stay safe out there!
