How to share a song with non-facebook users on mobile?

I can't find an option for sharing music with non-facebook users. I can find them with 'search' menu with spotify:user:username command, but can't find a way to share a music with em. When I use a 'share' button and choose Spotify people I just see a blank list. So how can I share a music with my non-facebook friends on my mobile?

I could be wrong, but... sadly, sharing music by direct messaging with non-Facebook friends isn't available yet on mobile. I'm not sure how it looks on iOS, but you can try the other options it pops up. "Copy to clipboard" or "Copy link", whatever it says, it will copy a link that you can paste and send to someone. When visiting the link it should open their Spotify to the track, album, or playlist.

Now on the desktop client, if they follow you and you follow them you are able to send them music through direct messaging (only on desktop client).

Select Song> Share> Sent To...> Type username

Yes, I can. But the point is to share a music within app. Sharing a music via 3rd party messengers is a way to complicated ) Thanks for your answer though. I have to wait for an application update hoping this feature to be available someday

I also would like to see this feature fixed/added/restored!

Sharing with Spotify users works well from the desktop app. I wish it were so easy from the mobile app as well! (iOS user here.)

I am having the same issue has there been anyway to share if you don't have Facebook and only use mobile app yet?

As a developer I'd like to hear an explanation on this bug/restriction.

Is spotify segregating  or it is just an issue they have? It is really annoying if I have to use a thrid party messenger.
