how can I turn off the video for a playlist?

By default, playlists on Spotify don't have videos, but some playlists may have a video component, such as a music video or a behind-the-scenes clip. If you want to turn off the video component of a playlist, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the playlist in the Spotify app.
2. Tap the "Shuffle Play" button at the top of the playlist.
3. Tap the "Video" toggle button to turn off the video component of the playlist.
4. The playlist will now play in audio-only mode.

If you don't see the "Video" toggle button, it's possible that the playlist doesn't have a video component and is already playing in audio-only mode or it's the new home screen update which doesn't allow us to disable 😞

Hi,

I have the same issue. The video is now back and I can’t turn it off. I would prefer my data is used for hi-fi quality rather than a video clip that I do not watch and don’t want to.
