I actually WANT autoplay

Hi,

I have seen many posts about how to disable autoplay. Having heard about that function was actually part of why I started using Spotify again, but now I cannot seem to find it! I am using an iPad and an iPhone but the menu option Autoplay doesn't show under settings on either one of them. Has it been removed altogether or is it somehow not activated for my account? I am using a family premium acccount.

Hey @Jocke-Strid!

Autoplay is a feature that will play similar songs randomly during playlists. This changes a little when you upgrade to premium. In settings, you should see 'Autoplay' if this is on, once your music finishes it will continue playing similar music.

Hi,

Yes, I can see the benefit. That's why I've been trying to use the function. It is however not to be found on my app. I at least fail to find it. I don't have that menu option where it seems it should be. So why could that be? Is it because I use a family account? That would seem like a bug....

I'm having the same problem, no "autoplay" in settings menu. I'm on android. I recently switched from Apple Music and very much miss the option to create a radio station with music similar to what I like.

Hey, 

The best way get this would be to play the radio on any of your playlists. To get to this, select the menu on any playlist and the option will be at the bottom!

I also could NOT find the Autoplay function in my apps either on PC or on mobile. And it does not automatically play similar songs. The starting-radio-from-selected-song is also gone. Could someone explain why?? Yes I would actually like to use those features.

Hey @tienxnguyen,

Please follow these steps on how to turn Autoplay on:

On PC / Mac:

1. Click the drop-down box next to your name 
2. Click 'Settings'
3. Scroll to the bottom before 'Show Advanced Settings'
4. Make sure Autoplay is on

On mobile:

1. Go to 'Your Libary'
2. Click on the Settings cog - top right
3. Click 'Playback'
4. Scroll down a little 
5. Autoplay will be between 'Show Feedback Sounds' and 'Behind the Lyrics'

Hey Tom,

Thanks for the step by step instructions but my problem much like the OP is that the Autoplay option, both on my PC and mobile, is nowhere to be found. I have the app updated on both devices and am a Premium user.
