Ipad 1 Spotify 0.5.10.14/0.6.0.181 Crashing

Hello,

Spotify keeps crashing on my iPad 1.  I am using version  0.5.10.14 of the Spotify app.  The crashing seems more common when I am viewing the full screen "now playing screen".  It usually happens after about 5-15 minutes.  Please help.

I just upgraded to 0.6.0.181...I will monitor and see if this has fixed the problem.

No go.  After upgrading, I listen to about 4 songs of the new Ivan & Alyosha record and the app crashed half way through a song.

Good question!  iOS 5.1.1 (9B206).  This is the most recent version of iOS for the 1st Gen iPad.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1.  Open the spotify app

2.  Start a playlist 

3.  After 1-5 songs the app crashes and closes to the iPAD home screen.

What I expected to happen

It not to crash and just keep playing my playlist.

What actually happened

It crashed.

Approximately how many playlists do you have?

About 20.  After I reinstalled the app and before syncing any playlists for offline use, I tried to replicate the problem and the crashes still happen.

My mobile Spotify version

0.6.0.181

My desktop Spotify version (if applicable)

0.8.8.348.ge445f5b9

My provider and country

AT&T 3G

Could it have something to do with the connection? Does it crash both on 3G and wifi? And without Internet?

I'll try connecting to Wi-Fi and see what happens.  If the crash still occurs, I'll sync a playlist and try it offline.
