Login to spotify using Facebook but says I'm not connected

Description
I checked my Facebook to find out that I couldn't login so I did a password reset and got blocked from friend requests for 30 days and when that happened is when this bug with spotify started.
A more detailed description, using numbered steps

What I expected to happen
Usually when I log into spotify with Facebook I go to friends and there are lots of people listed and I can share my music on Facebook

What actually happened
It connects with Facebook but shows an error message "couldn't open link" "the link you tried to open appeared to be a spotify link. But spotify was unable to open it." And it doesn't read that it's connected even though I used it to log in to Facebook
