Issue allowing access to microphone

1.  Hello I’m having trouble allowing Spotify access to my microphone I am on the iPhone 8+, I’m running IOS 11.3.1, and the app is on the newest version, I am not getting the pop up to  allow it access, also it doesn’t come up in the  microphone settings inside of  privacy settings.  I even reset the  location and privacy settings.
