Listening to my computer's local files on my mobile app

Listening to my computer's local files on my mobile app

Hello,

I am trying to move all my iTunes songs into Spotify, so I can stop using iTunes. I've created playlists in iTunes and have transferred them over to Spotify (on my laptop). Now, I can listen to all of the music on the computer, which is cool. However, on my mobile, I can see the playlists, but cannot listen to them.

I had not planned to share the songs or make them public, but if it's necessary I will. Is it necessary? If so, which one do I need to do, share or make it public? Is there anything else I need to do? I was hoping not having to download everything on the phone (purely because I don't have enough space) and to be able to stream the music as if it was part of the database...

With kind regards,

Laura

Hey Laura, Welcome to the Spotify Community!

You can go to the Spotify app -> Click into the playlist -> and click on the more icon on the top icon -> scroll down and click on make public.. Than it will become a public playlist..

If you can see Make Secret, it means the playlist is already public!
