My Question or Issue

When launching Spotify, the load time for the app takes ~15 seconds. Additionally, when listening on a locked screen (specifically with headphones/ AirPods) the Spotify players disappears. I have to unlock my iPhone, go back into the app, wait the ~15 seconds, and then hit play once the content I was listening to loads. Variations of this issue have happened when I'm using Spotify via Bluetooth in my car and pause what I am listening to. Either way, the issue is load time, pause/play, and bluetooth connectivity.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Could you try performing a clean reinstall of the app as described here? Also make sure to have turned the background refresh for Spotify on. Here is more on that. 

Let us know what the results were.
