Microphone and audio reproduction problem with other apps

when spotify is open, it often makes microphone (and speaker) shutting down after one second while using it in a third app (ex. Can’t talk with Siri, can’t send and LISTEN to audio in WhatsApp), both if music is playing (it stops and sometimes won’t restart playing on is own, displaying pause button instead of play while music is not playing) or not (it stops microphone from working altough music is not playing).

I have the same issue on an iPhone XR with the latest version of iOS and Spotify. This has been happening to me on a regular basis. I have to swipe up on the app and close Spotify completely in order to regain control of the microphone, or be able to play audio/video in other apps like Whatsapp.
