Missing album artwork when offline

I notice that album artwork is missing when I'm offling playing tracks that I've saved/downloaded for offline use. As the track is locally saved shouldn't the album artwork also be stored locally? When I go online the album artwork reappears.

This was a persistent issue for ages until Spotify finally fixed it about two months ago.

The recent 'green' update has broken it AGAIN. Artwork is present in playlists and saved track / album lists whilst offline But as soon as you play anything the large "now playing" artwork is the usual massive grey icon.

I honestly despair of this, Spotify. This issue has been going on for years and you still can't fix it. There's clearly a very large gap in your QA testing process with nobody bothering to validate offline functionality. Perhaps you could spend more time testing your products instead of focussing on what shade of green the icon needs to be?

Incidentally, steps to reproduce on Spotify iOS v3.3.0.1640:

Put iPhone into Airplane Mode.

Launch Spotify App.

Small artwork shows album list:

Enter album, large artwork missing:

Small artwork shows in song bar whilst playing a song:

Full screen now playing, large artwork missing:

Can you please fix this?

I have the same issue. It's very ugly when there isn't any album art. This issue happens in several updates before. No I have already this problem for a long time...
