[Mobile] Playlist bios and names cutting off on mobile - fix it, or set a word limit

This has been a bug on Spotify for years now and nothing has been done about it. Essentially, on Spotify mobile, if playlist bios go just over 2 lines (irrespective of screen dimensions) the bio will cut off without an option to either tap the bio to view it fully or a word limit to make sure bios don't get cut off. It doesn't make much sense for bios to just be completely cut off: either make it that bios don't get cut off and can be viewed fully, or set a word limit so people know when the bio will get cut off.

I have attached 2 images, one showing that the problem does not occur on the Desktop version, and another image showing the exact same playlist on mobile with the bio being cut off. This should not be a difficult issue to fix and is an essential one for playlist curators.

First off, thanks for sharing your feedback about this and I understand your concern about being able to see more space within the playlist description. 

How descriptions are displayed may vary across devices and operative systems. As Spotify wants to consider people with many different setups and make the app accessible to many, Spotify looked at the data and it showed that it's very rare that a playlist description moves beyond 200 characters, so this was chosen.

In addition, even if the playlist description contains simple text, with billions of playlists on Spotify, this still sums to a very big amount of data, which requires the technical need to try and reduce it. Nevertheless, Spotify does value your feedback, and if you think this feature will appeal to other users you can always search for a similar idea on the Ideas board and vote for it, or add your own idea. Spotify always takes ideas into consideration, as they help improve the app and the overall experience.

I don't think this is a proper a solution.

Why bothering putting an hard cap when editing the description if that's not even true? Also, based on my experience, the cap is not uniform across devices. On my phone (Galaxy Fold 3), it shows much less text on the small screen than on the big screen (which has a cap too). 

Why not putting a "Show more" button then? There's no point in this implementation.
