Music lowers when I open the app hearthstone

So this has started to happen after I downloaded iOS 10.0.2 and I got the latest Spotify version downloaded, any fix to this please?

Most of the time.. If audio stops or lowers when entering another app besides Spotify, it means that that particular app has requested to the OS to do something with audio.

ie: waze voice prompts, runkeeper mileage updates, etc...

If other apps are working, then i would assume Spotify is providing the audio correctly to the OS but the app, in this case Hearthstone, is not handling it properly or is not giving you options to disable or lower game audio.

I would reach out to the Hearthstone developers and submit a bug report. It seems like they made some tweaks to audio in their last update according to their changelog for Oct 3 - v6.1.14830

Hopefully they fix it soon, but as an iOS developer myself, my gut tells me its on the Heathstone app side of things.. Sorry!

Hey, found the same problem today. Not sure if you have figured out a solution for it yet, but I found that if you bring up your menu, while in Hearthstone, and pause Spotify then hit play again it will be the normal sound you had it at. Hope it works for you, cheers.

Same applies for "Monument Valley", but Spotify is not to blame for this since it's the same behavior when using the iOS Music.app...

Great now I have to email every company that has an app on my phone.

Spotify just fix it. It worked before and now with this update it lowers the volume.

This Le dude has no idea.
