Music not playing through headphones

Hey everyone,

With this recent update spotify music doesn't play through my headphones, either saved on my phone or streaming. Anyone have the same issue?

Have you tried using any other headphones?

Or maybe try plugging your headphones into another device to see if they work.

Because it could be the headphones not working.

If not, come back to me. 🙂

Nope the headphones definitely work through my computer, using spotify. 

Its weird, the music plays with out headphones through the app, but as soon as i put them in ... nothing.

Have you tried force restarting your phone by holding down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears?

I am having the same problems with the new update.  My headphones work everywhere else and my bluetooth on my phone will connect to other devices.  After this new update, Spotify will not play through my bluetooth headphones.  I restarted my device, deleted spotify, and reinstalled it.  Still not working.

Have a similar issue with a wired headphones - sometimes they are not recognized. Had to use external app to force Spotify to play on the phones.
