My spotify is showing a different language.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Just checked with a staff member at Spotify, and confirmed that your issue is not so much a language problem as a glitch.

Have you tried a quick Clean reinstallation of Spotify? Should fix the issue.

I tried all this, but the reinstalled version still opens in russian...

What device and spotify version are you using and which country are you in?

If you press Ctrl/Cmd+P to open the preferences menu, the language option should be the 3rd shaded area down. Does changing the language there make any difference?

Thanks, found it. cmd and , opens the preferences on Mac. Changed language and now it works. YEAH!

Funny I just thought mine was in a foriegn language but it was actually in english but upside down and backwords. I just closed and reopen.

I'm having this issue, also. Except my language shows English. I had my account hacked in March and it's been this way since then. It wasn't such a bother but whenever I get emails from Spotify, it's all in German. So that's frustrating.. any help or suggestions would be lovely. Thanks
