New 'compilations' don't appear in iOS Spotify app

I am logged into a premium account that has been working great, until my friend had asked me if I had downloaded a new release of J. Cole's (new on spotify anyways)... It won't appear on the 'artist's page'. I've made sure I was online, restarted the app, and reinstalled it but to know avail. Finally I logged into another account and the songs were shown on his page-- any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe weird question, but are you in the same country as your friend ?

It could be that the album was only released to certain countries due to licensing rights by the music label.

If your account settings is set to a different country, that might be the reason why.
