Hey there, @Soniabla,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Could you make sure you've allowed the app to access your network? You can do this in your iPad's settings > Privacy > Local Network. It's also worth checking if using cellular data (if available) or switching to a different Wi-Fi network makes any difference. You can ask a friend or a relative to create a hotspot for you to connect your iPad to.

Let us know how it goes 👍

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,

Spotify doesn't appear in the local network setting and I have no idea how to add it there?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, @Soniablad!

The app must first request Local Network access in order for the option to show up, but it appears that something has reset Spotify's settings. Just to confirm, have you tried using cellular data (if available) or switching to a different Wi-Fi network? A mobile hotspot from another device would also do. If you're using a VPN, I'd recommend disabling it.

Something else you can check is locating the Spotify app in your iPad's settings and making sure it has all necessary permissions allowed. It's also worth resetting your network settings to see if that does the trick.

In case the issue persists, please share a screenshot which captures how things look on your end so we can investigate further. Just make sure to cover up any sensitive info such as your login details.

Keep us posted on this. Cheers 🤘
