Offline mode won't work for me.

My offline mode doesn't turn the icon green, it stays grey. I haven't exceeded my storage nor my limit I only have like 1000 songs that are actually working and I have 4.5 GB free. I have an iPhone 5s. I am as well connected to wifi a lot of the time and I've tried closing the app, re-installing even turning off my phone. I don't know what else to do please help, thanks.

Just to verify, when you activate Available Offline do you see any song with a loading symbol.

When you activate it, all songs get a grey arrow icon, but the song that is being currently downloaded has a loading symbol.

Songs start downloading from top to bottom, so you should be able to find easily find that icon.

If all songs indeed have a grey icon and none has a green arrow or loading symbol, then I'd recommend a full clean reinstallation.

Just follow these steps: 

1. On the home screen, tap and hold the Spotify icon until it shakes.
2. Tap the X symbol on the icon.
3. Hold the Home and Power buttons down together until the Apple logo appears.
4. Open the App Store then search for and install the Spotify app.
