Offline music still being deleted

Ah, the ongoing misery of being a Spotify Premium member....

 

Today I left the house and turn on Spotify on my iPhone to find that (yet again, again, again and again) most of my offline albums have been undownloaded (again).

 

This is an unresolved recurring problem during my 4 years or so of being a 'premium customer'. 

 

Will Spotify ever fix this in my lifetime? Will anyone representing Spotify have any suggestion other than delete and reinstall the app? (Which has not worked in any of the dozen times I have tried it)

 

Seriously Spotify, your service and product is utter garbage.

Hi,

 

just to double check. Do you open Spotify at least every 30 days when you are connected to the internet, so that the playlists are “updated” in the offline mode?

Yes, I am online most days browsing new music. Longest offline period is only a couple of days (biz trips). And I am well within the Spotify max limits for number of tracks.

It’s really odd that your songs “deletes” themselves from being available offline.

 

Can you please try to do a clean reinstall of Spotify by following the instructions here, to see if it helps in any way? Do you use the same Spotify account on other devices, if yes - how many?
