I am using the Spotify app v 7.5.0 on iphone. I have my wireless turned off, the mobile data turned on and the mobile data for Spotify turned off. My Spotify should be offline and use no internet. Yet, it is online and it is using my mobile data.

That's not alright! Just to confirm, you've turned off Spotify in: 'Settings (iOS) > Mobile Data > Spotify?' Let me know.

When your phone can't connect to the internet, Spotify will show it's offline. When you turn off mobile data for your phone, Spotify can't connect, so it will be offline. Let me know if you need any other questions.

So, just to confirm, when you're turning off mobile data for Spotify as an individual app, it won't go offline and it will still use data? If that's the case, could you tell me your Spotify and iOS version?

I have the exact same issue. I have turned off the Data usage for Spotify and it is still streaming and connecting. I have to switch directly on the Spotify app the "offline mode" So it doesn't drain my mobile data.
I have Spotify Version 8.40.623
IOs 10.3.1
