Paid for premium but premium not working

Paid for premium but premium not working

So I have just subscribed to spotify premium on my iphone spotify app. I have received an email form iTunes saying I have paid for the subscription, however I can't access premium features such as playing music offline I the iphone app. (note that the email I use for iTunes is different from the email I use to log into spotify) I usually log into spotify on the iphone app using my facebook account. Is there anyway to solve this? I don't know whether I have a duplicate account or anything as i am new to spotify

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

 

I'm not sure if you need to buy premium from the same e-mail address as your account (on iPhone with iTunes), as I don't have an iPhone. 

However, could you please try something simple like logging out and loging in afterwards? Something simple as this usually should fix the issue.

 

Also, what does your account say about your subscription?

 

Please let me know if you're still unable to use premium features after trying the above. Thank you!

Hello, when I go to my account there is a green checkmark saying I am subscribed (free for 30 days and then will be automatically renewed for $9.99 CAD a month). but when I go to the main music page it just keeps repeatedly prompting me to sign up for premium instead of just playing my music. Its really annoying. Please help. 

 

I'm having the same problem I paid for premium using my Apple ID through iTunes and I received the email from iTunes saying I purchased premium but my Spotify app still says free and the website says free I only log in through my Facebook that's the only account I have and I've had it for 3 years and this has happened to me twice now
