Playback defaults to repeat when connecting to car via Bluetooth

My Question or Issue: I believe this issue has been ongoing for some users for years, judging by this thread. I have just changed my car to a Porsche Cayenne and whenever I connect to the Bluetooth to play my music, which I tend to have on shuffle, the playback defaults to repeat. 

Please can this be looked into / fixed as it is very annoying! I’ve ensured my Spotify is up to date and tried deleting and reinstalling, as well as rebooting my phone.

Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread.

As we haven’t seen any similar posts about this recently, could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this?

If you are, can you let us know if this happens when you connect via Bluetooth to another system - a speaker for example?

If a family member has a Spotify account, it could also be a good idea to ask them to log in on your device to see if the app behaves the same way.
