Playback not starting

Playback not starting

For some reason my downloaded songs are playing fine but if I try to go listen to anything else that isn't downloaded there's a slight possibility it plays but most of the time it just won't play. Stuck at 0:00 and it just never loads. Tested on both Wi-Fi and data, also app has been uninstalled and reinstalled and everything is up to date

Does the same issue persist when you're using a different network? If yes, the issue is very likely local on your device 🙂

To start troubleshooting things, let's first remove the cached data of the app to see if that would make a difference.
If this doesn't help, log out of the app and then back in twice in a row to trigger a manual sync of your settings.

Should this not do much for the situation as well, there's one more thing worth trying.
Although you've already reinstalled, some leftover files may be causing the mentioned issues. We can remove all Spotify-related files and install a completely fresh copy of the app on your device.
