Playlist - Available Offline - Won't Download

Running iPhone 6s, with iOS 9.2 and more than 54 GB of available space.

Trying to make a playlist available offline ... 3 days ago switched the playlist toggle button to "available offline" (so it's green) and I'm still seeing the "Available Offline Waiting to download." message next to the toggle button. But playlist has not downloaded. Phone has been (and is) connected to wifi and plugged in to power/charger. All other apps are closed. Was able to successfully make the same playlist available offline on my MacBook Pro.

Getting frustrated by the minute here. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Have you tried deleting the Spotify app from your iPhone, then downloading and installing it again? It may help!

I did, that was one of the first things that I did to try and resolve the issue. : /

Try to remove your phone as an offline device and resync it here, maybe that'll work.
