Playlists on iPhone very slow.

When I open up Spotify (latest version as of today, 2/18/2015) and go into the playlists section the app becomes unresponsive for about 45-60 seconds. When I can finally tap into a specific playlist it transtions to that playlist but becomes unresponsive for 45-60 seconds again.

This is only happening in the Playlists section. The Songs, Albums and Artists sections all load fine without any issue.

I have a lot of playlists - too many to actually count. However, I have them grouped into 4 main Playlist Folders in an attempt to speed up that initial load - but its still terribly slow. I don't want to delete the playlists for obvious reasons. 

Things I've tried:

- Moving playlists into one playlist folder.

- Moving playlists out of playlist folders.

- Closing all other apps on phone.

- Restarting phone.

- Deleting Spotifty and reinstalling and syncing my songs for offline play.

- Deleting Spotify and reinstallnig and not syncing any data.

- Resetting my phone - cause that's how much I want this to actually be fixed.

Any help would be appericated.

Hmmm... that's strange.

I've never seen anyone with this problem before and since you have tried all the troubleshooting steps, I'm not sure what else you can do.

I have forwarded this thread to Spotify staff to see if they know what could be causing this. I'll post back if I hear anything. 

I don't think it's possible to have too many playlists? haha

And I don't think its possible to have too many either..hah. But, as a developer, my mind went straight to the load time and possibly the app trying to load the playlists and possibly even loading all the songs in each in memory. The idea of that blows my mind, but ya never know.

Just to confirm. Is the webplayer loading fast for you?

Yup - web player works fine and loads quickly - just no playlist folders though so it shows all my playlists top down.

Can you please confirm the following:

- Phone model, operating system and version

- Version of Spotify

- Are the playlists online or offline? 

- Is Spotify working fine on other devices?

Just to note - someone at spotify is currently helping me via twitter & @spotifycares. They had me log into a test account in which everything worked fine on my device. 

- Phone model, operating system and version: iPhone 5s. iOS 8.1.3

- Version of Spotify: 2.2.0.2464

- Are the playlists online or offline? Mixed of both. I have about 7 full offline playlists. 

- Is Spotify working fine on other devices? It's working fine on the windows desktop app. Web player works fine. I can test on my ipad later tonight.
