Podcast Episodes Can’t be Replayed

I’m having an issue with podcast episodes not being marked as “played” whenever I finish them. They show as having “1 min left” but don’t, and when I try to play the episode, it skips to the next one and shows the same message.

This most often happens when I switch from listening on my phone to my computer, but not exclusively. Is there a solution? My feed is getting backlogged with episodes that I’ve finished and it’s making me want to find another app to listen to.

Having the same issue and now that podcasts are important this has become a real problem. The next time I see “uninstall and reinstall” as an answer I may just only follow step 1.
