Podcasts aren’t updating

Podcasts aren’t updating

for the last couple of days new podcasts no long appear at the top of the page when I sort by recently added. I have to manually look at every show, and if I open one with a new show - then it suddenly updates and goes to the top of the page. I think it might be a bug with the new update. Anyone else have this?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

We've checked on our end and the newest episodes are showing up as expected. We're assuming you're looking at the New Episodes playlist? If not, please explain in more detail where in the app you're seeing this so we can check again.

 

Also, try the following troubleshooting steps in the meantime:

  • Log out and back twice in a row.
  • Reinstall the app.
  • Check how things look on a different device (preferably on a different platform)

It would also be helpful if you could send us the model, OS version and Spotify version of the affected devices along with a few screenshots.

I can confirm this is happening to me on iPhone with the latest iOS and Spotify update. I have mine categorized by recently updated. They would historically refresh, showing my podcasts in order of the latest update. I do not click the new episodes playlist because the UX and design look terrible. This is extremely frustrating and disruptive. Please fix ASAP.

Make sure to follow the troubleshooting steps that @MihailY suggested above. If none of that works, be sure to send the full info that he requested as well (model, OS version and Spotify version of the affected devices along with a few screenshots) so we can have a better look at the issue.
