Premium family plan

Premium family plan

I just paid for the family plan with 1 other person and we are both at work trying to play off 2 different devices and anytime either one of us presses play it pauses the other persons and plays on the current, not sure if I just wasted an extra $5 for nothing

When you sign up for the family plan, you need to invite another Spotify account to join your family plan.

 

The other person who wants to be on your family plan will need to create a new Spotify account to join your plan. Each account is supposed to be for one person and can only have one stream at a time. Also the benifit of everyone having their own account is that they can build their own music library and the recommendations will be based on their music tastes, and not others.
