Hi, is there a way to hide the music you hear (without always activating the private session) and clear the published playlists/artists which you have heard?

Hi @Stayandlisten, welcome to the community 🙂

To hide your listening activity, follow these steps in your desktop app:

Anyone can follow you on Spotify, but they don’t have to see your activity if you don’t want them to.

  1. Select Settings in the top right corner.
  2. Under Social, click any switch to adjust the setting.

Here’s a further explanation of each of the options:

  • Automatically make new playlists public
Switch this OFF (grey) to keep all new playlists hidden from other Spotifiers.
  • Private session
Switch this ON (green) to temporarily hide your listening from the Friend Feed.
  • Publish my activity on Spotify
Switch this OFF (grey) to never show your listen history.
  • Show my current Top Artists
Switch this OFF (grey) to hide the round-up of the artists you listen to most from your profile page.

Let me know if this works for you.

Hi @bittencourt Thanks for the prompt reply. I deactivated following settings:

Automatically make new playlists public
Publish my activity on Spotify
Show my current Top Artists

But the playlists which i heard before are still visible. Any chance to change/delete this?

thanks for your support.

Well, some users managed to clear their listening history in this thread.
